I had a wndeorful, almost idyllic relationship with my father who passed away in August 2001. I struggle on Father's Day because I still miss him so. I like your reframing of your difficult feelings and experiences with your father. I wish I knew how to do something like that for my memories and feelings. You see, I can hardly bring myself to think of him or think of all the wndeorful things we did together because it is still too painful. I don't like to think of him on Father's Day. In reality, I guess it's rather childish and selfish of me to react this way. Perhaps I'll make a concerted effort to talk about him and our memories with my husband. Sam

APMEX, the large pcoireus metals wholesale retailer, is paying $1 over spot for a one-ounce Engelhard, about $49 as of this minute though the value fluctuates by the minute in this volatile market. On eBay, you might get $3 $5 over spot, but the fees will eat all of that up and then some. A local shop might pay you $1 under spot if you had a ten ounce bar, but just one bar, $2 $3 under. A small local bullion guy would be happy to give you $50- $52, no fees. The dollar will get you $30 from a dealer regardless if it's super-nice or shows wear. A small-time bullion guy might pay spot for it, which is $37 right now. If it's a clean, white original luster with minimal bag marks, maybe as much as $50.
