In resopnse to Barefoot's question above, the wire stories that flow into the national news tab (or any of the other news tabs that don't include local stories) are automated and flow from The Associated Press. Every once in a while, our online editor, Graham Kislingbury, will post a big national or international story in our Top Story slot, but those news feeds are automated from the AP.
